Course Overview

You'll learn to install wiring, switches, sockets, lighting, circuit breakers, and distribution boards following Ethiopian electrical standards and safety codes.

Electrical Theory & Safety

Understand voltage, current, resistance, power calculations, and critical safety procedures for electrical work.

Wiring & Cable Installation

Install conduits, run cables, terminate connections, and wire switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures.

Install and wire distribution boards, circuit breakers, RCDs, and plan circuit layouts for buildings.

DB installation, circuit breaker sizing, RCD protection, sub-main circuits, and load calculation.

Testing, Certification & Final Assessment

Insulation resistance testing, earth loop impedance, polarity testing, certification procedures, and final practical exam.
