Course Overview

Computers are essential in every business and home. When they break, skilled technicians are needed to diagnose and repair them. This 3-month course teaches you computer hardware repair, operating system troubleshooting, data recovery, and system building from scratch.

You'll work with desktop and laptop computers, learn component-level diagnostics, and develop the skills to work in a computer repair shop or IT department.

What You'll Learn

Hardware Diagnostics

Identify faulty components including motherboards, RAM, PSU, hard drives, and GPUs using diagnostic tools.

Component Replacement

Replace laptop screens, keyboards, trackpads, fans, batteries, and desktop PSU, RAM, and storage drives.

Data Recovery

Recover data from failed drives, repair file systems, use recovery software, and advise clients on backup strategies.

System Building & OS Setup

Assemble custom PCs, install Windows and Linux, configure drivers, and optimize system performance.

POST troubleshooting, motherboard testing, power supply testing, RAM and storage diagnostics, and component replacement.

Software, OS & Data Recovery

Windows installation and troubleshooting, Linux basics, driver management, data recovery tools and techniques.

Month 3

Networking, System Building & Final Assessment

Basic networking, custom PC building, customer service, and final practical assessment.
